When is it the wrong time for comedy? I racked my brain trying to find a quote I could remember from comedians/artist I love speaking about this in interviews. Sergio Aragones’ work in the late 60s, Eddie Murphy from the early 80s, and of course Ricky Gervais. I couldn’t nail it down but the sentiment I remember from each of them when questioned on the material they were doing in relation to the times was “never”... it’s never the wrong time to try and provide a little satire in an otherwise hopeless
