JAY OPPENHEIMER

We were already working on a version of the movie, but I guess Nolan did a good job. Opps pants could have been a little more high-waisted IMO. You know, to be more true to life. I don't think Matt Damen could stand up to Sagan's performance as General Groves, but we'll let the Academy decide...

Seriously though, I thought it was a great movie. Def worth the time to see it.

PUDDLES

I don't like swimming and most water is gross... I do still enjoy kicking rocks into puddles and then checking to see if any weird creatures have stirred...

CLOSE GAME

There was a really close game going on between Kyle and Carlos... Winner gets a huge pile of sticks.

JUST SOME SCENES

When designing a post-apocalyptic RPG where you and a band of battle-cats fight the forces of stupid across various landscapes and subterranean tunnel systems, you need to think about characters, their potential movements (strength/weaknesses) and world emersion they will be set in...

Or, just do some doodles and pretend...

ITS ALMOST TIME

We got the Buzzerbombs, Snot Rockets, Bunker Busters, Church Burners, BlisterDoodles, Fort-Flatteners, Dog Whistles, Patriot Plums, Ground Gremlins, Snicker Zips, Allah Crackbars, Sky Smokers, Demolition Daises, Amputee Makers, Snort Whistles, Car-Jackers, Skull Smushers, Ear Missiles, Howling Hogs, Lindsey Lohans, Skipper Dix, Pixie Killers, and some Sugarbombs over here... You guys have any fun firework names to add?

MACHINES MAKING MACHINES

"It's all machines building machines now... It was like... like, the invention of the wheel, then, then the Industrial Revolution. (pause for thought) Then, then the ATM machine man. That's it, it was over for us after that". - Kyle Myers "Drones Always Win III - The Dronery" (2028)

POSTOSUCHUS

The Pseudosuchians have a lot to brag about. Nosing around with body design starting all the way back in the early Triassic, and lasting all the way to modern crocodilians. Our guy Postosuchus here was repping the croco-stylings in present day Texas some 230 million years ago, rearing up on his hind legs and bursting toward tasty dicynodonts at break-neck speeds. Yum.

GRAMMAR SCHOOL

Did you guys ever make a fort for your head to hide in on your desk out of books when you were in grade school? This is probably why I ask everyone around me how to spell simple words and have to read things really slowly to this day.

PENDRAIG

The Late Triassic in present day England was humid, warm, and partially submerged, which created 1000s of little islands and shallow lagoons packed with delicious fishes. This also gave evolution some nice conditions for trying out new body designs. Pendraigs followed the path of insular dwarfism since space was limited and there were no large predators to compete with. So yes, they would have been cute to hang out with, but still packed a toothy bite if you got too close.

I personally enjoy my own compactness when I'm on long flights...

SATURN PATROL 3057

I always felt like the Moon Blaster 4000 was the better model of scout-patrol vehicle, but you know how it is with space contractors. The 'Saturn Patrol Heavy Scout Transport V' won the contract and now the outer solar system is lousy with them and their spare parts. You can customize the back with shag carpet and a mirror ball to make the long patrols a little less mundane though so a lot of us do that.

GOLFS

This was like a month ago, but I'm still riding the victory high.

HAPPY BDAY SAGAN + HEIDI

We got Sagan last summer and the vet said he was most likely born between March and April of the previous year (2021) - (She also said he was a 'fine specimen', while handsing all over his tenders so, he's got that going for him... Which is nice). Then a few months later we got Heidi and the vet also surmised she had been born spring of 2021. So we've decided to celebrate their birthdays on the same day. Spring cats, turning 2 years old and being scamps around the house. Happy birthday to them!

Today, there are mouse toys are literally everywhere around the house.
