The very first alligator ancestors evolved some 245 million years ago! During the Cretaceous period around 80 million years ago, the crocodilians appeared. I’ve often considered myself to be at least partially crocodilian. Mostly because I’m really good at being super still when submerged in water. Anyway, a few of these little fellas will make for a great desktop companion.
