Tropical vacationers from America usually worry about the same things. Will my luggage get lost by the airline? Will it rain the whole time I'm there? Will I be scared by the locals and will any of them get near me? The thing I find curious is how no one ever talks about the true threat to a successful tropical get away; that being getting your carcass devoured by a giant Island Beast. It's like you guys are willfully ignorant of these colossal equitorial lurking creatures or something. It's why I always pack 30-plus pounds of dried tuna steaks in my carry-on to use as chum in a different location than the one I'm staying in. I stuff it into the overhead as soon as I get on the plane, even if I'm sitting in the back and then run up to retrieve it before the plane even stops taxiing.
ZOMBIE POEM
Here is a little poem about a zombie you might know.
COBRALOBRA
He had a great idea, he just needed to get his Cobralobra to market.
WITCH HAZEL
Historically speaking, there is no better time to be a witch. I know like 11 of them. I admire their chemistry acumen and attention to detail when mixing sinister soups. My all-time favorite witch will always be Witch Hazel. I love it when she clicks her heals together and tears off and bobby-pins just for a cloud behind her.
Who is your favorite witch? Here is me dressed as Bugs Bunny with her and her cat. Happy Friday.
CREEPY STUFF
Spooky creatures and hideous monsters are my favorite part of the Halloween season. I imagine that creepy forest witches could find a way to communicate with squishy and grotesque cryptids, and after some time, they'd probably start to agree on things and hang out. Devouring unsuspecting rural peoples, stealing babies, or even just game night...
ALL DOGS MONDAY
Mondays… sigh
DEMON PIPS
Maribelle's demon pips were getting ready for the Halloween season just in time.
GRUESOME GIRL
Her husbandry work with hideous and gruesome monsters was prominently displayed on her resume.
SKULLS
If zombies lived long enough I feel like some of them would want to tell you about how great it is being one. No job or bills to worry about, pretty much everyday is Saturday, lot of fleshy people hanging around.
BACK TO SCHOOL
Every single person that has friends with kids social feed this week and last…
CENTRAL CASTING
Kendra is going to see the new The Crow movie tonight with her girl squad. So, she made me watch the original with her last night in preparation. Few things I didn't remember: 1. Ernie Hudson was one of the main characters? Winston! 2. All the shooting going on upstairs and Thrill Kill Cult just kept on playing until a literal corpse drops onto their stage... Nice. 3. Although not a great movie, the set design and lighting was pretty solid. Nice late 20th century dystopia.
And speaking of Kendra movies, the 2nd Betelgeuse movie is coming up too. What a time to relive your childhood moodiness. Here is pre-teen Kendra waiting for the bus to central casting.
FISH
None of them could ever remember...
A LITTLE BDAY DRAWING
ELDEN CATS
I don't play "new" video games myself. I instead prefer arcade-era games, but I do enjoy the artistry of them from afar. I think a battle cat game with cat-dragons and cat-snakes and armored catsmen would be fun...
GAME OF DRAGONS
Watched the season closer of the Game of Dragons or whatever last night. I feel like I'd want to just live in that world without having to do any big consequential journeys or joining any massive armies. I'd lay low, do some art, have a few chicken wings, and maybe a little sword fighting here and there, but nothing too attention grabbing. That's where you get yourself in trouble.
NIGHT CATS
[Eerie strings fade in over distant muffled jazz and passing cars] - The sky was heavy with tumult... Haze clung to the asphalt in a blurry soup of danger and intrigue. Heidi and Sagan, prowling the alleyways in search of morsels, stopped every score yards to sniff objects of interest... They'd been this way, not more than an hour ago. That much was clear in this fog. This night, tonight... Their blood-thirst would be satisfied.
THAT KRACKEN
WHALE V BOAT II
Anyone else rooting for the whale in that video?
The lighthouse version of todays drawings at least makes it a little less ominous for the boaters as they can at least swim for the rocky shore and wait for rescue. I guess for you biblical folk, neither of these images should be frightening as attested to by your boy Jonah, who set up shop inside a fish for 3 days and came out no worse for wear. HA
